Connie White is the Chief People Officer at Altos Labs, a global biotechnology company based in the San Francisco Bay Area whose mission is to reverse disease, injury, and the disabilities that can occur throughout life.
Connie joined Altos in 2021 and was foundational in building the company’s People function and establishing core company infrastructure. Prior to joining Altos Labs, Connie worked at Genentech in a variety of human resources leadership roles and also in U.S.Commercial in operations and communications. Connie’s human resources experience also includes regional human resources and corporate positions in Gap, Inc. leading large-scale company initiatives. Her career has had a distinct focus on building organizational capability and employee and leadership development.
Connie is a Certified Professional Coach and Advanced Enneagram Coach, as well as certified in change management. Her expertise includes building organizational AI roadmaps, and AI ethics, corporate and crisis communications, and business continuity planning.
Connie is an ongoing contributor to Forbes on organizational topics, and was honored for her and the Altos Labs People Team to have won the 2024 Brandon Hall Award Gold Award for Best Employee Proposition, and for 2025 the Gold for Leadership Development Program. Connie personally was awarded the Gold Best HR Leader.
Connie lives in the SF Bay Area and her personal passions include dog and horse rescue, the WNBA (Go, Valkyries!) , and enjoying modern art.
