Kavita Kurup
- Chief People Officer -
- Cyient
Kavita believes the future of work is not just built — it is felt.
As Chief People Officer at Cyient, she leads the people strategy that fuels growth, transformation, and care for thousands of associates across the globe. The role goes beyond people practices: it is about shaping an ecosystem where business outcomes and human potential accelerate each other.
Partnering closely with Cyient’s Board and Executive Leadership, Kavita reimagines talent at every level — from workforce planning and leadership development to digital-first employee experiences. The focus is on building a culture that attracts, develops, and retains world-class talent while embedding innovation, empathy, and accountability throughout the organization.
What drives Kavita most is designing the future-ready workforce — building skills-based organizations that can thrive in disruption, leveraging AI and technology to enhance rather than replace human capability, and developing leaders who lead with both clarity and care. The guiding purpose is simple: to make work life better for every Cyient associate by combining strategy with humanness, and vision with execution.
Outside of work, Kavita is a student of Indian aesthetics, exploring art, history, philosophy, and culture. The through line to leadership is intentional — like art, great leadership is about interpreting the world in ways that inspire new possibilities.
Kavita welcomes conversations on the future of work, leadership, and the human–technology interplay.
