Heather is the Chief Learning and Development Officer at McKinsey & Company, where she holds global responsibility for Learning, Development, Ways of Working, and AI adoption and upskilling.

Over her 28-year tenure at McKinsey, she has held a wide range of people-related roles, including talent acquisition, professional development, and learning. She established McKinsey’s Talent Management function, a dedicated group within the broader People function, and is currently leading efforts to transition the firm toward a development culture focusing on skills-based capability building. Prior to her People leadership roles, she worked as a McKinsey consultant serving clients on various operational topics including manufacturing, supply chain management, and product development and procurement. Her educational background includes an MBA and an MA in Education from Stanford University, and a BS in Engineering and Operations Research from Princeton University.
