Devin Bigoness is a senior executive education professional with more than 20 years of experience in designing and delivering educational solutions for global clients while growing an Executive Education business area within an University. Since November 2022, he has served as Chief Client Officer, Executive Education and Lifelong Learning for the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. In that role he is responsible for the overall strategy, leadership and growth of the custom solutions area within Executive Education and the Sands Institute for Lifelong Learning. The organization works closely with global organizations such as the U.S. Navy, Capital One, Edward Jones ABInBev and NAMIC. UVA Darden was rated in 2024 the #1 Global Public Business School by Financial Times.
From July 2020 to October 2022 he served as Director, Custom Corporate Programs for the integrated External Education area of Cornell University. In that role he works across the University to grow the portfolio of organizational programs through blended learning solutions. From August 2017-June 2020 he served as the Executive Director, Custom Programs for Cornell Executive Education within the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business integrates the Johnson School of Management, the Hotel School and the Dyson School at Cornell to maximize the business education possibilities. From 2013-2017, he served as Executive Director for Executive Education at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. For more than seven years prior to joining Cornell, Devin worked for Duke Corporate Education, then ranked globally as the number one provider of customized executive education (BusinessWeek and Financial Times) in London (UK), New York and Durham (NC). He also served on the Board of Directors for UNICON (the University Consortium for International Executive Education).
Prior to his career in Executive Education, he worked in sports marketing, athletic media relations and sports journalism. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
