Tamara Jovene is Vice President, Global Learning at InterContinental Hotels Group. She is responsible for devising and executing business readiness strategies that deliver the learning & development journeys of colleagues around the world enabling them to bring brands to life for customers, owners and colleagues. Her work supports 400,000 hotel learners at 19 hotel brands in more than 100 countries.
She fell in love with the hospitality industry at a young age, working in every aspect of frontline hotel operations before joining IHG in 2000. Since then, she’s advanced through a variety of roles that focus on innovative learning programs to drive profitability for owners and equip hotel colleagues to perform and succeed. Experienced at operational transformation, developing and leading high performance teams, and bringing a results-driven, collaborative approach to every challenge, she’s driven by a purpose and passion to drive memories that last a lifetime – for IHG guests and team members.
Tamara frequently speaks on hospitality industry issues including company culture, brand and service strategy, and achieving operational performance through people.
