Pedro is the SVP of Diversity and Inclusion at Raymond James Financial where he is responsible for the development and implantation of the enterprise strategy.  In his capacity, he chairs the firms Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council that is comprised of senior leaders appointed by the CEO and Executive Committee. It is the primary body responsible for supporting the implementation of corporate global diversity initiatives.

Pedro Suriel is a senior-level executive with over 25 years of experience in management consulting and 20 years in human resources, focused on delivering large-scale change programs across a global organization, delivering leadership development initiatives, diversity programming, training and coaching, process improvement, employee engagement and talent acquisition strategies.

Prior to joining Raymond James, Pedro was Managing Director of Client Services at Cook Ross, a D&I Training and Consulting services firm.  While there, he led all client-facing activities from business development to client project delivery.

Pedro had a 20+ year career at Accenture where he started in the human performance service line and ended his tenure as Managing Director as Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) Lead for North America as well as the Global Inclusion & Diversity Lead for the Health and Public Service Operating Group. He managed the strategic planning and architecture of Accenture’s inclusion and diversity initiatives

Pedro lives in Tampa but he grew up in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from the New York Institute of Technology with a BS in business administration.
