Carolina Cardoso
Associate Director, North America Inclusion and Diversity; Accenture
Carolina Cardoso has worked for more than two decades advocating for people around the world for equality and equity in the workplace at Accenture, for its clients, in its communities and beyond.
She brings 23 years of global experience and expertise in Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) developing and executing I&D leading practices in leadership and talent strategy and leading I&D programs and initiatives. She brings broad experience and deep expertise in her leadership role as North America Inclusion and Diversity Relationship Management Lead, supporting 70K+ employees and managing relationships with external partners in the North America market.
Carolina is a thought leader in I&D and subject matter advisor who has developed and implemented several global initiatives and training programs to advance gender and racial equality. Her deep expertise in I&D make her a trusted advisor to Accenture leadership, strategic partners, and its clients. As a global leader for over a decade, she has worked with organizations across Europe, South Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the U.S. in addition to Accenture’s Diversity Council.
Carolina joined Accenture in 1997. She began her career in management consulting and joined the US Diversity Program in 2000 as the North America I&D Training Lead. In 2003 Carolina transitioned into a Global Inclusion and Diversity Center of Excellence as I&D Learning and Development Lead. In 2013 her role expanded to include Global Women’s Lead. In addition, she led programs and leadership development initiatives to advance racial diversity. In 2017 Carolina became the Global Inclusion and Diversity Client Market Lead and co-developed Accenture’s Inclusion and Diversity Practice. She led Accenture’s South Region in the US with more than 20,000 employees to drive inclusion and diversity initiatives and programs. Carolina is currently the North America Inclusion and Diversity Relationship Management Lead who is responsible for leading Accenture’s externally-focused Inclusion and Diversity strategic priorities and initiatives. She is the Strategic Partner Lead and liaison with HITEC Women in Tech forum.

Carolina has participated in several local and national I&D Advisory Committees: AIA's Diverse Workforce Committee, Brandon Hall’s DEI Advisory Board, Ziff’s Professional Advisory Board for University of Miami Business School, Executive Committee for St. Jude Gala in Miami. She is the founder of a non-for-profit organization for High School girls, a volunteer at the Miami Rescue Mission and a Youth Program Leader at her church.
Born in Chile, Carolina has a passion and appreciation for cultural diversity and lives in Miami, Florida.
