Susan serves as a director of learning for the PPD clinical research business of Thermo Fisher Scientific. She leads a global learning team that focuses on delivering modern learning using technology to scale in support of business needs. With over two decades of facilitating, learning, human resources, and real-life experience, her approach to learning and career planning is practical. Prior to joining Compass Group, Susan worked as a recruiter, trainer, human resources manager and director of learning for an airline, an economic development center, a warehouse distribution center, and a contract food service company. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a Master’s in Human Resource Development from Webster University as well as numerous certifications including Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
