Sonya is a workforce development professional with more than 20 years of experience. In her position, Sonya’s primary goal is accelerating Goodwill’s impact by leveraging research, data and other insights to equip them with resources needed to inform, expand and enhance mission services. She takes pride in providing the best leadership, coaching and inspiration possible to help teams achieve collective goals. Sonya has successfully managed multi-million-dollar grants, assisted organizations with the development and implementation of strategic plans, and led the design and implementation of national initiatives to assist individuals with achieving economic mobility. She has received the Spirit of Collaboration Award and the Walk This Way award for her commitment to her work and Goodwill’s mission. Sonya received a bachelor’s in business administration from Augusta State University in Georgia. A strong advocate for developing leadership skills in women, she has been a Girl Scout leader for girls ages 12-15 for 24 years. She also served on the board of the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia.
