Mike Parks joins Inkling as CEO from Fortive, an American diversified industrial technology company, where he served as the Vice President of IoT Strategy. His responsibilities included leading commercial teams, new product development, engineering, and strategic partnerships working across Fortive’s operating companies on the development and execution of their digital transformation and IoT initiatives.

Mike brings with him an extensive background in technology and SaaS based solutions, having joined Fortive through the acquisition of Accruent in 2018 where Mike served most recently as the Senior Vice President of IoT Strategy, where he led the product management, engineering, and services teams for Accruent’s IoT business. Mike served as the General Manager of Accruent’s retail business post Accruent’s acquisition of Verisae in 2016, and during his time at Verisae, Mike led solution engineering, account management, professional services, and managed services.

Mike began his career in the retail industry, where during his 23-year history in grocery he held leadership positions in Store Operations, Human Resources, Capital Budgeting, and Property Management with Kroger and Strack & Van Til.

Mike lives just outside of Chicago with his Wife, Stephanie, a high school teacher, and their four children Riley (24), Matthew (21), Avery (19), and Maya (13).
