Katie has over 30 years of experience in learning and development, primarily in financial and professional services. She is currently Director of Learning with McKinsey & Company and is responsible for the learning strategy for over 18,000 professionals. Prior to joining McKinsey, Katie worked for Deloitte for 20 years where she held several leadership positions, including Deloitte Audit Deputy Chief Learning Officer; Learning and Development Operations Leader based in Hyderabad, India; Learning Design Center of Excellence Leader; and Deloitte Consulting Strategy & Operations Learning Leader. She was also the Director of Learning Design at Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong. Katie holds a master’s degree in Instructional Systems Design from Penn State University, a master’s degree, and a PhD in Human Development from Fielding Graduate University. Her dissertation research focused on the adoption of performance support solutions in organizations. She lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with her husband Marshall and daughter Lilly.
